I want to run an AMD radeon 6570 and a nvidia gtx 660 ti for mining on a 500W power supply that i already own. Is this enough to run at full load?

I checked http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine#footnote5 and it said I would only need to have 430W to run at full power

Here is the kicker, nVidias cards suck at mining so it is pretty pointless to use it at all.

Yes a decent 500w should handle it.

If you are talking about bitcoins, mining with gpu is a waste of energy. Difficulty is set so high only asic chips can do that with little profit.

Its actually for dogecoins, so it would be pretty decent. Would the CX500 be considered a decent power supply by your standards?

That's interesting because I saw GTX680s that couldn't break 300KH/s for Bit or lite coins. Must be the coin type.

Only Bitcoins, litecoins for example are made so that GPUs will never become pointless with them.
