So putting together a little cheapo media pc out of old parts I have lying about, have all working ok, DVD and hdd recognised in bios.
I ran an origional xp disc and full formatted drive for install, no problem......
Then when it restarts I get 'press any key to boot from Cd...' If I leave it, nothing happens. If I press any key it starts whole format then load process again but now doesn't find the 'mass storage device'
If I enter bios and ask to boot from hdd I just get a blinking cursor.
Tried this with 2 different hard drives now.......
Getting frustrated! Any suggestions?
