The price of that 270x is awfully close to that of a 760. I would consider getting a 760 instead, unless you're into the whole mantle thing.

You would likely only need the 6300 (8320 would be great if you could get it around the price of the 6350, which has been the case for a while now, not sure if it still applies), and would likely recommend a Seasonic 620W unit.

Also, a 8GB kit (2x4GB) of RAM would do you much better than a single stick of 8GB.

I switched to the 8320 and the two sticks of ram, but I'm keeping the R9 290x though because I'm a bit interested in how the whole mantle thing will boost performance. Why do you recommend the seasonic 620w? Thanks for the quick response!

I dont get it. You listed a seasonic 620w and he sais he'd eecdomend ro get a seasonic 620w... or did you change it? Anyway, if you changed idk what the previous one was but seasonics are reliable psu.

The 8320 and a r9 270x will be a good combination. I recommend the Seasonic 620W because it's made by the best PSU manufacturer as of now, so their units are all of top notch quality, and the 620W will likely be big enough for any single GPU that you throw at it, along with overclocks.
