Best GPU to go with an AMD A6 APU?

Solution

AMD's new API that bolsters their weak CPU's and only seems to help on horribly unbalanced systems.

Gtx 660 because I have seen even older CPUs work really well with it for surprisingly good settings/fps (medium settings with great fps on new games will keep you happy) and it should be the last card you get for that CPU. That card is also good enough to put in your next PC when you are ready to update CPU. Extending your PC's life will keep you patient/smart on your upgrades =)

These A6 chips go poorly with this grade of performance in a gpu... If you get a 660 then at max you will see the performance more of a GTX 650 Ti. It will cause a bottleneck and waste of money

P.S. It could even be the lowest end A6 and is performance like a original Phenom X4 (bottlenecked my 570)

There is always a bottleneck somewhere, 660 would still find opportunites to perform better if we had the same systems side by side with both cards/same settings, overall benchmarks would have higher min/average fps on the 660. Could you find CPU or GPU bottlenecks if settings are too high? Of course, you have to it down if it's not smooth. Still don't believe me put a slower card in your older computer and run the same benchmarks.

I was honestly thinking a 7870 and putting some decent cooling on the cpu..think that would work?
