So this is my first time building a computer, and i have picked all my components- my first problem is i am not sure if all the components match up to each other and will all work together. I think they will but i would like someone to check it out. Second, im currently at $1350 but i was hoping not to break $1000

So my biggest concern was if everything was compatible with each other and if was just an over all solid build, able to handle BF4 and elder scrolls...

Your original build was fully compatible, but would offer very poor gaming performance compared to the cheaper build suggested by whitecat. He just did a better job of choosing cost effective parts than you did in order to get the best performance while still not going way too cheap on parts

thanks whitecat im gonna take your design just because it incorporated my design as well as your own touch, and its my first build, so i want it to be my own

not in gaming. even a stock fx6300 and a 780 will easily out perform a 3930k@4.6 and a 770 if only fps in modern games is concerned.

the video encoding argument for fx 8 cores over i5/i7 is retarted because encoding is done on gpus for the last 2 years and gpus do it 20 to 600 times faster than any cpu ever made.
