Hello i just want to know if my CPU hase a good temperature, when i play BF4 for example 2 hrs rounds ,or sometimes more round after round long gamplays, and i see my CPU is like 65c,or some times goes to 69-70c,but on rendering videos -editing on Vegas Pro is like 61-65c,so are this temps are normal for this CPU ,i just wan to know because when i am not playing or rendering videos, the CPU temp is 43-47celsius degress. So if you can tell me i will thankful....

I dont know if intel CPUs have a higher heat tolerance than AMD CPUs but my FX-8120 hit 66 degrees celsius and my maxx temp is 70 degrees celsius . What I would recommend is to get this cooler → http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 I just got this cooler a few days ago and it more than cut my temps in half. Now I don't go above 30c while playing BF4. And don't be scared about applying the thermal paste, if you don't put enough you will know. Then you just redo it.

I used the thermal that came with the 212 Evo, I used slightly more than a pea sized drop dead center only because my processor was a little too big for that amount. But I would recommend doing about a pea sized drop in the middle of the processor and then letting the heat sink flatten it out on top of the CPU instead of spreading it out with card or something. I was extremely nervous when I did mine but when I finished I said to myself, why did I stress over that? That was so easy haha. Just remember you can always add more, but if you do too much that's worse than adding too little. Besides if you add too little and your CPU overheats, your computer will shut off to prevent damage, then you can redo it and add more.

tjmax is your max cpu temp. it pulls the data from the cpu that intel specs built into it. it should say around 100c is the max temp 60-70 under full load is very common. as for the amd fx-8120 I don't know to much about it but if 70 c is its limit that is a very low max limit. mabe that's the point where it starts to dial back but 70c(158F) is a really low cpu max temp. but is a really common full system load temp. 30c is only 86F and I find that really hard for any cpu that is not water cooled to be at under load. at idle its possible with a room temp under 75F

just put a small pea sized drop of thermal paste on the middle of the cpu and let the heatsink spread it out as it sits on top of it from its own weight. The stock intel heatsink is pretty garbage, got loud like a lawnmower when I used to use it lol. Even the stock amd heatsink on my bro's a10 5800k is silent compared to it

All I know is that I idle between 10-13c and under load I'm between 22-28c. Which is probably the reason that the TJ max is at 70c
