Best customizable racing game 2014?

What do you guys think is the best pc racing game so far to 2014? I ask because im looking for a new racing game that can actually let you customize your car with performance and body upgrades, not like NFS, where you can actually see, feel, and hear a difference. Like if you can add a big wing, or a body kit, turbo, etc. Hope that makes sense. Any recommendations or feedback?

Id have to say Forza 5 Motorsport.
you can change many aspects of the cars from engine to suspension to turbos

well for PC i also dont know, i wish there was a game like forza on PC

other than that a good realistic racing game would be shift 2
but i dont know about customization

Rfactor and Rfactor 2. iRacing is where all the pro drivers race (yes real nascar drivers and some road guys)

I'm holding out for Assetto Corsa myself, it's the closest thing to Forza that you can get for PC. It's not cheap and is in "an advanced state of completion" according to the devs, but if it gets finished, it looks damn good.

Definitely gonna get it though when it comes out, or maybe even soon. Putting gta 5 as my first priority though.

Yeah, same. I really want to get it and try it because part of me is saying it must be almost done and/or well playable by now, and it will be worth it, but then the other part is telling me to wait and not waste $40 on a game that might be total sh*t right now. Ill probably forget about it and wait for release. Most likely will get it too, though.
