I get the message NLDR is missing Press Control Alt Delete to restart when starting computer.

I have read about inserting Windows XP Pro disk and going through steps to the point where
it asks for the Administrator password. The one I recorded when setting up doesn't work.
I do I solve password problem first, so I can fix NTLDR problem later?

HELP!!!

Often the Administrator password is blank in Windows XP based OS's.

There may be other reasons for the NTLDR to be missing the most common ones are a failing hard disk, failing memory module, or your PC is laden with spyware.
You can also run the Windows XP repair option from the CD which requires no password. However, some applications may no longer work after performing such a procedure and you may have to redownload all the Windows updates again.

Personally I'd check the hardware first with some bootable CD's.
