I just put together a new system today and when I start it there is nothing on the monitor and 1 continuous beep followed by 4 beeps during POST (hardware component failure according to documentation). The only led indicator that is on after the POST is the VGA led. I have tried resetting CMOS, updating BIOS, reseating GPU, and putting GPU in a different slot. All end with what I described above, very frustrating. I know the GPU works as it is only a couple weeks old and was working in my other PC earlier today.
It's also worth noting that the fan is spinning fast and steady on the card so I don't think it's a power issue.
System:
CPU: AMD FX8350
MOBO: M5A99FX Pro R2.0
RAM: 2x4gb Corsair XMS 1333 MHz
PSU: Corsair 600 watt CX600 Builder Series
GPU: MSI NVidia GeForce 210 2-DVI GDDR2 512MB (Yes, I am aware this low end part isn't up to par with the rest of my system, but ran out of money ... next upgrade ...)

I am really hoping someone can help, this is driving me nuts and I need to get back to work. I hope I don't need to replace GPU as I am tapped out. GPU works fine in previous system ...
Thanks in advance

UPDATE: Now the beep pattern is 1, 3 (No VGA Detected)

Ok, so I opened up an old IBM Intellistation and swapped video cards and the old card worked with the new motherboard. My first thought was that the GeForce 210 was no longer working. However, I put the GeForce in the IBM and everything worked fine. Does anyone have any idea why the Asus mobo won't accept the GeForce 210? Very strange ...
