can the r7 260x work on power supply of 265w ?

Solution
You are really going to kill the PSU if you push the limits and running the card with a 265W is going way off the charts. Remember you have other components too that needs power from the PSU. Besides the card also need a 1X75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector too. The recommended PSU for this card is a 500W one.. but it is always safer just to be a step ahead, so a 600W PSU will be a good one. I had a 400W PSU but when I brought this card I purchased a 600W Frontech PSU at INR 800 (quite a bargain :p) because I was facing bottlenecks as my PSU was not up to the power requirements. So running the R7 260X with a 265W PSU might cause bottlenecks to say the least. You might face serious hardware damage too.
