Hello.

I have a INTEL Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz
memory bus speed 1333 Mhz

I had a 2GB 2Rx8PC3 - 10600U (M378B5673FH0-CH9). I think it's SAMSUNG.

I replaced (also added) a new RAM card: KINGMAX with 4GB / DDR3 / 10600 1333Mhz

BIos recognize the new RAMS but it cannot boot windows. I tried also memtest, it is starting to work but at 2-3% (almost) it crashes and gives me a BLUE/GREEN/AQUA BLUE screen.

Maybe the problem is that the new RAM card is faulty/damaged ?

thank you very much!

It is possible that the RAM is faulty. It is also possible that the timings for it are not set up properly in BIOS. Double check the memory SPD for what it SHOULD be and make sure it is set appropriately in BIOS.

It is also possible that the memory voltage is not set properly in BIOS, making it unstable. Check that as well. If timings and voltage are correct, then I'd say you've got bad RAM. It happens to all of us as we get older.
