I hope you can help me.

I have a Lenovo laptop with 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate operating system with 6GB RAM & AMD Radeon Graphics.

My question now is, Is it possible remove all 32-bit preferences/files & have only a clean 64-bit system/apps? And one more is to restrict installation of software's to only 64-bit?

Like 'NO 32-bit on a 64-bit machine just 64-bit'.

Solution
1. Not all applications come in 64bit versions.
2. It doesn't really matter. A 32bit application runs just fine on a 64bit system
3. Maybe the only way you could restrict that would be through a GPO. But I've never investigated on how you might do that.
