I moved to Europe. I thought I flipped the switch on the back of the powersupply, after I seen and heard the pop, the computer does not turn on! Can you please tell me and let me know what's wrong and what to do? Thank You!

Power Supply Unit. The thing in the back where you plug it in. And preferably flip the switch to the proper voltage before plugging it in.

Normally 'easy' to change. But if you're asking what it is, maybe taking it to a repair shop is the indicated course of action.

Hey USAFRet. Thanks man for your time and sorry for not writting correctly and fast. And yes that spot does stink! Well, now that I am on this site, I can always come over and ask questions and good answers from good people! I will also look all over in the computer to see if everything looks good and to see if something else is wrong!

Well. for sure the PSU is cooked. Looking at other parts may or may not be an indication of something else cooked. Only real way to tell is to put in a new PSU and see what happens.
