Hi,
I have a MSI 760GA-P43 (FX) motherboard with 2*2GB Kingston HyperX PnP DDR3 1866. After I added two more sticks of RAM of the same type (exactly the same product), my PC doesn't boot and gets stuck on "Initializing USB controllers". I tried using only the new pair of RAM, which worked fine. I also tried disconnecting my harddrives to see if this is a PSU issue, but it didn't help.
Thanks for any answers!

Solution
AMD AM3+ FX CPU architecture supports two DIMMs at 1866MHz or four DIMMs at 1600MHz on a dual channel motherboard. Anything higher requires an overclock of the system.

Mixing memory kits is not recommended, regardless of brand or model. For single memory modules, they may also viewed as a kit of one module.

By mixing memory kits together, there may be compatibility issues such as unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications.

Memory kits are thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility within each memory kit. And because using a new kit that has not been tested with your existing memory kit, compatibility cannot be guaranteed when multiple kits are used.

Looks like some setting in your BIOS is wrong, goto your BIOS and choose "Load fail-safe settings" and check if it boots.

If it boots start tunning BIOS from there.

You might want to write down your current settings first though.
