I'm looking to buy a good PC specifically for Minecraft, Skyrim and Assassins Creed. I first chose the AMD but then I found the i3 and I heard AMD Bulldozers aren't that good, so I've been thinking about going for the i3 instead.

Dear if you are going to build your PC for gaming, I would suggest to go with Z87 chipset if there is no budget constraint.

if a had to choose i would go with the intel
but if you plan to build a good PC then you should get the Asus Sabertooth Z87 LGA 1150 Motherboard

i3 4130 no doubt. Bulldozer was horrible...Phenom II's were better

Neither of those pc's will give you satisfactory gaming performance.
I recommend this for about $800.

OP, neither of those will work for gaming. The graphics cards are far too weak.
