I put together this computer: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2Kbst

How is it for video editing and gaming? I will be using Adobe Cloud, mainly after effects and photoshop, but other software as well.

I am also interested in playing games (Skyrim, Arkham Origins, and Battlefield 4) how would it run those?

Thanks so much for the help!

You can still do better. You're using a generation old CPU and chipset. The CAS 10 RAM can be improved as well.

This build includes CAS 9 1866MHz RAM, a nice CPU cooler, and a GTX 770. It would be a well-rounded system that is good at gaming and video editing. I also included a nice PCI-E wireless network adapter just because you had one in your build. If you don't need that and can use a wired connection that will save $100.

That motherboard, ick.

Why bother with the 3770k and then put it in that terrible thing? Get a cheap Z77 or something so you can actually use the CPU's features properly or go the other way and don't bother with the K editions.

Yup, that's totally fine for gaming and video editing. Although in gaming, ram's clock speeds don't matter much, but they do while video editing. So I suggest you to get these ram or similar ram with better or similar specs : http://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-Series-240-Pin-Desktop-F3-1866C9D-8GAB/dp/B007GWMRL0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391097216&sr=8-1&keywords=8+gb+1866
1866 Mhz will be better than 1333 Mhz ram for Video editing.
That rig can also handle the games you mentioned very well, so it's a well suited rig for gaming and video editing.

Yup, that's looks better than before, especially for video editing because 16 gb ram is more better than 8 gb in video editing. Also, You don't need to spend that much on motherboard and cpu. With that price you can get a 4770k and an equally good motherboard.
