It should be OK around high settings with decent visibility (your gpu is also important here though) but I wouldn't consider buying a more expensive cpu for just Arma3 since the game doesn't run smooth like a baby butt unless you built an 10k $ monster.

That cpu is great and considering your gpu is r9 290, I don't think you will be having any problem at ultra on playable FPS.

But im not going to overclock, and this website says that it stupid to spend more money on a i5-4670 if you not going to overclock, and says that i should buy the i5-3350P instead? should i do that?

My CPU Right now: AMD Phenom(tm) II x4 955 processor.

Not at all. i5-4670 isn't overclockable. Only the "K" versions of these cpus are overclockable. So it's not stupid or a waste of money if you buy i5-4670. It's a great cpu for gaming.

If you are not going to overclock then you don't need to get 4670k as the 'k' versions are only good if you wan't to oc. But you can also save some money by buying a h85 mobo.

Okay, but i should still buy the i5-4670 without the k version right?

If you don't plan to overclock buy the non-K version with a quality H-87 board.

If you plan to overclock in the future buy K version with a Z-87 board.
