Getdataback for NTFS/or FAT and Easeus Data Recovery Wizard 7 (both paid for software). In my case the latter found files that the other didn't so always try a few if your having trouble recovering files. You might have a RAW disk, data may still be there but recover it first onto another hd then format the RAW disk and you should be ok to use that drive again. Or you could try testdisk to fix the boot sector/repair mft util which is completely free and may restore your drive back to normal no recovering/formatting needed in some cases.
