cable braiding gone wrong

i was braiding my cables for my PSU with the removal tool but i must not of pushed it in far enough and when i pulled on the cable the wire ripped off he pin, i have replaced the pin but i don't know how to remove the old one from the connector without a cable to pull on? any help please

A reasonably sized Staple folded into a U shape poke legs of staple down into the connector and use a biro or nail or similar to push the pin out of the connector.
