I'm looking for a laptop or netbook that I will use for coding(primarily python and java) and very light gaming (Wow, lol and minecraft) however i'm on a very streched budget £250 at the most. I don't need to be able to play the games at high settings or medium(but it would be nice) low is fine . I am not bothered by screen size and I would like a hard drive of 250gig or more.

Any response would be amazing, thanks!

the best price i found thus far is on the lenovo site, a8-5550 and discreet graphics is a 550.00 dollar unit..my concern is this..with the a8-5550 do i really need the discreet graphics to play world of tanks?

Not sure how graphically intense "World of Tanks" is, but if you are questioning it you probably don't. Its not like buying a computer 5 years ago. Now computers have such powerful integrated graphics that the lowest level dedicated graphics chips are not really of much use. If its no more intense than oh say Bioshock Infinity on lowest settings then don't worry about it at all and go for something cheaper. If its equal of any MMORPG, then you don't need dedicated graphics.

Thank yo uall for the 411!..I will be going with the Lenovo Thinkpad E55 with the A8-5550cpu and discrete graphics..should do the trick..I checked out the 540 series integrated graphics and they are similar to the 4000 era..
with that being said..I used to play WOT on a dell vostro with 2nd gen i3 and intel 3000 fairly well..so this should be great!
