Hello, I am a little bit of a tech but I always like to get opinions from other people
Could you please give me your opinion on this rig:

Budget is £500 -

Motherboard: Asus H81M-E Motherboard (Socket 1150, Intel H81, DDR3, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX, PCI Express 2.0, VGA, USB 3.0)
Processor:Intel Core i3 4130 Dual Core CPU Retail (Socket 1150, 3.4GHz, 3MB, 54W, Extended Memory 64 Technology, Execute Disable Bit)
HDD: WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue
GFX Card: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Graphics Card (2GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0, HDMI, DVI-I, VGA)
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit
RAM: Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Module
Case:CiT Midi Mesh Gaming Case with 4 Fans, 3 Green LED and Card Reader - Vantage Green/Black

This is basically a mid-range gaming pc - to play games at medium - high settings.

Will anything burn components burn out? or will it all be okay.

Well if you can I would get 2x4gig ram for best performance. 4gig is just on the low side these days.

I have seen quite a few post on the CX PSU's not being that great. From what I can tell Corsair PSU's are good with the exception of the CX line. Other than that it looks OK for a mid level gaming rig.

All will work fine.

On the ram, buy a 2 stick kit so you can run in dual channel mode. I would buy a 8gb kit of 2 x 4gb.
If you really must get only 4gb, buy a 4gb kit of 2 x 2gb.

GTX650 is an entry level graphics card, and will likely be your limiting factor. Your 500w psu will give you the option to upgrade to a card as strong as a GTX760.

The Corsair CX is a tier 3 unit on this list:

It is OK, but If you can find a tier 2 unit that fits your budget so much the better.
