I have an Asus F2A85-V motherboard and Kingston Hyper X KHX 1333C9D3B1K2/8G ram, are they compatible?

The Short Answer: Yes
The Long Answer: Based on the specifications of the ASUS F2A85-V (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/F2A85V/#specifications) it supports up to 1866Mhz standard and OverClocks up to 2400Mhz memory speed. Also, up to 64GB capacity which means you can use up to a 16GB module. So the motherboard will have no issue handling KHX1333C9D3B1K2/8G which is two 4GB modules running at 1333MHz. Although, you could go for something faster as long as your CPU supports it.
