AMD Drivers and Windows aren't cooperating. (3 different errors)

I built a rig yesterday with fresh parts outside of ram and GPU. My GPU is a Readeon HD 5850 (at this point probably 4 years old). I still have the install disk for it so I booted it up once my PC was booted. It ran fine, drivers were installed etc. However I wanted the latest drivers/CCC so I went to AMDs site grabbed the latest CCC and installed. About 3/4 it BSOD on me and as it rebooted my AMD drivers were wonky.

I get 3 different errors as of now.

When I boot my PC I get this error from ATI "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate..."

When I open CCC I get this error "AMD CCC cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD CCC"

And when I got into the device manager I get this error under my GPU "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

I unistalled the drivers and reinstalled the latest CCC and to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Solution
remove everything then reinstall new drivers. you want to wipe out all remnants of the old driver first. No need to load anything from that disk, it is useless at this point. Just install the driver from the AMD web site.

So unistall all AMD programs (CCC, Drivers) reinstall from disc, then remove everything again, then install the latest drivers?
I tried installing new drivers (without removing everything) and it Blue Screened again in basically the same spot.
