Hi folks. I'll be starting my first build in about two weeks, and have just realised by the back of my video cards case, that it only has drivers for XP, Vista and 7.

I have bought three oporating systems to do a multi-boot, to make PC games old and new run as smoothly as possible. With Windows 98, seeing as my video card doesn't have drivers for this OS, will my motherboards GPU be sufficient, if it has one? It's the Sabretooth 990FX R2.0.

And the last thing is, will the drivers for Windows 7 work ok for Windows 8?

Thanks in advance guys.

You will likely have to run a emulator for windows 98, as it is just slightly too old (the integrated gpu on most processors do fine for games that old however.
also yes, some drivers are compatible for windows 8 from windows 7, but they must specify that they are, otherwise you can and will likely run into some problems with certain programs and drivers
