Okay, I've had my Logitech Z906 for a year or so, and the problem occurred a pretty long time ago.

Well, as you see here:
iopanel.jpg

There are five labels of red/black connections, and that is my issue here, my "Front Left" input as you see in the picture is somehow not responding correctly and I don't get sound, I need to put both "Front left" and "Front right" into the rep input for "Front right", will this cause problems?
I don't think its that healthy for the input since its giving possibly double output for the speakers or is the output halved.

Thanks for answers ^^

if you put the FL and FR wires into the FR input then both speakers would play the FR signal. it might be hard on the amplifier inside as well (not sure what its rated for) but unless you pump the volume up high i dont think its going to cause a major issue.

i would pull the cover off and check the connections on the back of the terminal connector (the red and black connector the speaker wires plug into). is there a broken connection for the front left? also does the spring clip seem to be working correctly?

also if you put the speaker on a different terminal (lets say for FR) does it play sound (ie is the speaker broken or does it still work)
