Depends on the game I'm playing but my frames vary from 10 all the way to 80. I've been trying to get Arma 3 to run on my computer but I can only get around 20 frames in the single player missions and only 10 in the multiplier servers. I don't have a genuine windows, could this be affecting it? Here's my specification. Also other games I average out at are arma 2, 45 frames, everything on high, battlefield 4 around 50 with everything on high. I've heard that arma 3 isn't really AMD friendly so maybe that's my problem? I met the recommended qualifications for arma 3.

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 AMD970
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCIe
CPU: AMD 6-CORE FX-6350 3.9G
RAM: 4 GB

As far as I know, a non genuine version of Windows prevents you from having a wallpaper (black background) and prevents you from installing Win 7 updates. At least that is what I noticed when I was test driving Win 7 before purchasing the retail version of it.

Of course, I suppose it could be possible that one of many security and Win 7 updates from MS would purposely lower performance to "encourage" people to purchase the retail or OEM version. I suppose you used up all the re-arms as well, meaning you have been using Win 7 for more than 120 days.

Try scanning for viruses, defragging the HDD and make sure the drivers are up to date. Otherwise your only option to buy a license or do a re-install of Win 7 (and all your other programs / games) so that you can use it for another 120 days before it becomes crippled again.
