So a few months ago I bought the parts for my first PC build. I Got:
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Mobo: MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card
Case: Cougar Spike MicroATX Mini Tower Case
PSU: Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
So after getting these parts, and putting them all together I noticed that my PSU didn't come with enough/the correct wires for my GPU. The GPU needs 2 6 pin connectors and my PSU didn't come with any. But when I went online to buy some I didn't see any. I made a post on reddit.com/r/buildapc, and somebody there told me to buy 2 of these
http://www.amazon.com/HDE-PCI-Express-Pin-Molex/dp/B002CZANA8
But I have no idea how those would help me, I'm not sure where they would plug in on my GPU since there's clearly nowhere these can plug into. I asked him but got no answer. You guys over here seem like you know what your talking about. So what wires should I buy to be able to plug in my GPU? I was looking at this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B46XJ4S/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d2_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1VSWMWK97YDJ2EXQD4KB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846
but it says extension so I don't think that's it but i'd much rather ask some people who actually know what they're talking about. Also the guy over at reddit.com/r/buildapc told me that my PSU didn't have enough wattage to power my GPU and that I should get a new one. But after doing some research on that people were saying that a 430w PSU was fine. So should I upgrade my PSU too? Because I don't really have the money for that. Also sorry about the long post, I feel like i've been rambling haha, but i'm sorta getting frustrated feeling like I wasted my money on my PSU.
