hey guys
ok so , my pc is pissing me off
why you ask? well ive been buying new graphics cards and rams every 2 weeks but my experience isnt getting better...i mean like i had the geforce 8600 gt...upgraded to the ati readeon HD5450 1 gb , then went up to the ati radeon HD5450 2gb...NOTHING's getting better , my specs are:

intel pentium 3ghz (I KNOW)
ati radeon 5450 2gb (ddr3)
4gb of ddr2

i was able to play fallout new vegas on the same processor , the geforce 8600 gt and 2 gb of ram...and now that ive upgraded this much i can barely run rust on minimum graphics? (10-20 fps)
i mean like...RUST?! the game that doesnt even require a graphics card? the hell?
so please someone help me and direct me to whats best for my system (absolute best) , i went to the local shops , they told me dual core dont exist for ddr2 and that a 1piece 4gb ram ddr2 doesnt exist...somehow i smell that theyre wrong.
so someone please direct me for whats best for my system and its be great if youd put in how much the whole thing would cost , i cant afford a whole new PC so im gonna have to upgrade this ddr2 system of hell to its absolute MAX

I would say the 2GB version, especially if your resolution is 1920x1080 or higher.

XFX and Sapphire are both good brands.

Man, this is painful, I know, but here's the thing: it's time to let go. That PC should have been recycled years ago. Don't sink any more $$$ in it, it's not worth it. Start saving for a new one. When you have, say, $600, post again and we'll help you put together something 20 times better.

Geforce 8600GT? Wow that is some time ago. With CPU and and Memory you got there i assume, it may present itself a problem.

First this is, what is your budget if you had Cash to upgrade? We then can take it from here.

Also i need your MOtherboard specs

ok wait...i live in the UAE our currency is in DHS so 600$ is 2160DHS...i can get 3000DHS i think in the upcoming month or so
but dude...cmon man feel my pain...i just got insurgency 2 , red orchestra 2 , CS global offensive and RUST...like i dont understand...i was able to play starcraft 2 on high in my old setup i mentioned above...(the geforece 8600 and 2 gbs of ram)
so if you could suggest ANYTHING that would help my out for now...goddamnit my tears are filling my keyboard as i type this =(

That looks like my old Dimension 8400 (I owned a Geforce 8600 GTS 256MB card with it) StarCraft 2 worked beautifully (before it was patched). After the patch I had to play it on the lowest setting possible (not even animation on the units :))

Any decent video card you get on that build will run into problems. If you can wait a buit more you can certainly updgrade to some quality component. You won't be able to recycle some of these components either (with the exception of the Hard DRive)
