Is this mobo good for gaming?

Solution
the mobo has socket 1150.
the only thing you have to pay attention is to get non-ECC memory modules because the mobo does not support ecc modules.
from what i've found, the gskill modules you are planning to use are non-ECC (F3-1600C8D-8GAB).
the system is ok and should play most of the game with high settings (as long as you get an i5 processor).
good luck! ^_^

is not good as long as you plan to use SLI (B chipset does not support that) and also is bad for overclocking. also if you have memory modules running at frequencies higher than 1600 it's not the right choice. if you are a moderate gamer, i think that overall this mobo is ok since it has pcie 3.0. basically the chipsets don't have huge impact upon performance. the cheaper ones offer less features such as overclock support or raid, less sata and usb ports, etc.
pay 10 dollars more and you get a Z chipset board.
bottom line, if you plan to use 1/2 hdds, don't overclock processor, don't need many usb ports and have memories running at 1600, it's ok.

Hello. I'd get an AMD RADEON GPU, therefore I won't need Nvidia SLI. I'm not planning on CrossFire neither.

About overclocking, no... That's also the reason I'd get a NON-overclockable CPU... Because I don't need to OC it.

About the RAM; It'd be a 1600 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB) from G.Skill Ares Series.

You say, paying $10 more I could get a Z chipset board. Alright, but the thing is that the MOBO must be socket 1150, for Hasswell.

your build is great. i'm using a i5 3350p, hd6870 and 8 gb of ram on a b75 chipset and run games at max settings (with some features disbled) at 1920x1200 resolution. you will have even better results.
go for it if you don't want to spend too much money and it will be fine. everything is compatible and should run great.
