EVGA or ASUS?

I'm wanting to buy a GTX 770 but don't know whether to go for EVGA or ASUS. is one better than the other performance wise or is there no difference?

Both of them will have extremely similar performance (pending they have around the same clock speeds) and have great cooling via the ACX cooler and DCUII cooler. You can't go wrong with either, most people pick EVGA due to their outstanding (haven't experienced it personally) customer service.

Performance wise they will be the same (assuming a reference board). I would go with the cheaper one. They are both good brands.

I can vouch for EVGA cust service, very responsive. Far better than ASUS in that regard. But both still great choices.

Performance differences will be under 10% and come from different clocks. Some cards are factory overclocked i.e. they run faster, but they cost more too.

I run nothing but evga cards. They are the gpu experts.

I have always been loyal to the EVGA brand, but I too, faced this decision recently. At the time, this card from Gigabyte was cheaper so I went with it:

It also has slightly (almost insignificant) specs.
