Anybody Use Diamond GPU's? Are they any good?

I'm looking at a Diamond R9 290 for 409. That's the same price as everyone selling 280x's around here. Should I be jumping on that? I need a GPU and was considering the 770 AMP by Zotac but I can't believe my eyes seeing this 290 for that price.

Zotac is slightly higher priced than other brands, but usually due to better quality parts. Their reliability is a little better than most. Is it worth the extra money? that's a personal opinion. I prefer to go Asus or EVGA for video cards.

I know. I google it and there's nothing bad really. That's a hell of a deal for a 290. What about Zotac? They got the fastest 770's 780' there is. Is that a fairly new company? Like there cards are the cheapest but have the highest clocks. I'm becoming obsessed with reading specs and benches it's frustrating because that's all I really need to get my rig up and going

Here in Canada they are the cheapest other than Diamond now. IDK just read the warranty on the Diamond and it's only a year. That sounds a little sketchy as they are not really backing their product.

I've decided against the Diamond first cuz it's out of stock second they seem cheap. I'm just gonna go for a Zotac AMP! 780. Then I don't have to worry about missing out on performance that Mantle supposedly rewards. The 780 will ensure some security in this ever changing industry. Thanks for the Replys
