Okay, so my graphics card, and virtual memory is literally a piece of cardboard(Seriously, I don't even think it is fair to compare it to cardboard. In fact, Cardboard might make a suitable substitute) and I was trying to stop Java from taking up 1000000 memory, so on Task manager I did this.
1. I went to Java on processes.
2. Right-clicked then selected properties.
3. I went to compatibility.
4. Set Java to run in compatibility mode for Windows 95(I'm dumb when it comes to computers. Most other things I do well in, but a puppy could do better at computers than me. No seriously. )
5. I close Java and go to bed, to find anything associated with Java not working (Java runtime was fine.). So any online things using Java would make Google Chrome stop working, and any programs that primarily use Java would not appear, or glitch in a way. (This includes games)
If this doesn't make sense please mention, but I am really scared, and don't want Java to be screwed up forever.
