Hi Tom's Hardware,
I am looking for a PC configuration within a budget of 40K to 45K (excluding GPU, Keyboard & Mouse but including Monitor) in India with a scope of upgrading it in the future. I will be buying a GPU few months later therefore need suggestions for that too.

Use:
Mostly for video editing, Photoshop, 3D Modelling etc. But a little bit of gaming too.

Also, if possible, please suggest a motherboard that will support my current GPU (Nvidia GeForce 9500GT).

Looking Forward to your co-operation.

Thanks a lot for Replying.... few more queries

1) If I increase my budget a bit, should I go for the Intel i5 4670K? Or the AMD FX series processors are better suited for the type of work that I mentioned? Could you please provide me with some links (just for knowledge sake) --- What to look for in a processor when you have a) editing and modelling kind of work or b) for gaming.

Do I need to buy an after market cooler for the above configuration (as I'll be adding a GPU later on)?

1. Absolutely. For gaming it usually favors Intel 9 times out of 10. Having the i5-4670K will be a huge benefit.

2. That doesn't matter if you're adding a GPU or not. Where it matters is if you plan on overclocking or not. If you're spending that much on a gaming PC ( ₹ 45000 = $720 USD) , you could probably actually drop the CPU to an FX-6350 and socket 970 motherboard, then you'd have enough to get a Radeon 7850 or 7870 GHz edition.

Considering that my first priority is rendering and editing kind of work, should I still go for Intel i5 4670K instead of AMD FX 8350? (Because after reading many other threads I saw that people prefer AMD FX 8350 over Intel i5 4670K when it comes down to multi threaded tasks as the AMD FX8350 comes with 8 cores instead of 4 cores in Intel i5 4670K.) Please suggest.....
