Hey guys, unfortunately my manual comes with no beep codes for this mobo. I've looked online too but there never seems to be an answer for the beep pattern im getting, it's two short beeps a pause and then a third short beep. This is a brand new build that powers up, fan spins and then powers down. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for replying! Yeah I've read that post quite a few times but it hasn't helped unfortunately, I tried an external build and got this beep code, which is the furthest I've got to finding out whats wrong but there's nowhere I can see that translates the beeps I get :(

Any help guys? Had this problem for about 2 months now with a new build, was hoping I'd get it sorted so I could use it with uni work which is now starting in 2 days :( Not seen anything on two short beeps, a pause, then another sort beep!

That's the problem, I'm on a laptop at the moment and I haven't had a computer for about 10 years now. I'm living off my student loan (in overdraft) right now with no source of income, so I'm hoping the beeps would tell me exactly what's up because I can't afford to replace multiple components, sorry I'm being a difficult case to work with! (no pun intended)

The same with no RAM and no GPU, I get the two beeps pause one beep when it's just the cpu, cpu fan and power supply. I thought it may be the PSU because it came in a bundle with the case from ebuyer, when it arrived the PSU was already set up inside the case, ready to use.
My thoughts were either mobo or PSU, but since this is an expensive build (I blew all my past student loans on this hoping id get a work station for years to come from it) it would cost a lot to replace the mobo.

My PSU has enough voltage to power the mobo (Checked the mobo manual)

Unfortunately not, I don't know anyone else who has a PC they don't use.
I was hoping it wasn't the graphics card of all things!

Am I right in thinking if i get post beeps it definitely isn't the motherboard?
What do you mean by the rest of the components? Do you want the specs?

Yeah, the specs.

It doesn't need to be long term; borrowing a GPU for half an hour would do it, then you RMA it.

It could still be the motherboard, if there's an issue in one of the RAM or GPU slots, or the chipset.

Can you try the GPU in a different PCIe slot?

Yeah, full specs would be appreciated.

Ill try changing which PCI slot it's in tomorrow and post my specs up, I'll have to be on the look out for a different gpu, isn't very likely though, all of my friends are laptop/console users!
