DVD Drive will not get out of the case

I keep trying to remove my DVD drive since i moving it to a new computer and it will not at all leave the computer no matter what i do i used all my strength and made sure i unclipped the caddy. The computer is HP-p6243w. Please answer i really need it.

That's a more less standard case it should come out there maybe clips even a screw or 2 holding the drive in .

Most of those drives come out the front of the case, away from the inside, just in case you were trying to pull it backward into the guts of the case. That usually won't work.

Check both sides of the drive bay to make sure there are no screws anchoring it down.

Thanks i removed the front panel and the drive slide right out. Only if i knew that it came out of the front and not the back that would of been a lot easier.
