Im kinda thinking of going from an FX8350 as the tittle says for a i5 4670k , i got a buyer for all my parts already but i just wanna know if it really worth it??
Am i going to feel a difference at all?

I use my pc mostly for games that iuncludes emulators like for wii or PS2 and sometimes to do some hw that requires me to use programs like photshop or illustrator, premier etc nothing too fancy.

So currently i got no probs with my AMD build but i think getting 16gb of ram was way too much xD i could have spend that money to get a better GPU but anyways, the thing is that this guy would buy alll like ALL including PSU which a corsair GS800 ( also overkill for my setup facepalm* cuz i got a kill a Watt and most of the time i dont even reach the 300watt limit) and i probably gonna go for a mini ITX Build.

Any advice is welcome

Don't think you had a noticable increase in you electric bill from an O.C. without voltage change...
Especially if you had cool and quite enabled. There muct have been other factors that effected it becuase it would be something like $2 tops.
The difference in monthly cost between these two are not all that much.

NOOOOOPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE Not worth it at all wait until next gen cpus if they are better but fx 8350 can do anything if you haven't overclocked then overclock. Better gpu always better then cpu wait till cheaper i5s and better.

Depends on what you could get for your 8350 + mobo. If the net cost isn't much then I would say yes. If you find yourself spending a lot, I would bother.

There may be better options for you though. What video card do you have? You don't play any demanding games?

I have a r9 270x, i could have got a 280x but i spent way to much on the mobo ( Crosshair V Formula Z) and the RAM ( 16GB 2x8gb Corsair vengace LP ) also the power consuption is kinda important for me since the electric bill has been high lately and i spent around 6 to 8 hrs a day on the PC :c

And i will reply more later but im at school xD cya

I had it overclocked at 4.5Ghz but with stock voltage , even with the AMD Cool n Quiet technology it was stable but after i saw how high the electric bill went up then i took it back to default ( But i have my doubts that it was because of my PC) so yea the fact that the i5 4670k is 84w TDP would help a bit right? At least like 20w less in idle and like 30w in load???

Or i could get the none "K" version which is a bit cheaper bue anyways let me post my whole system specs so u all get a better idea.

FX-8350 8 core @ 4.0Ghz
Cooler Master V6 GT
Sapphire R9 270x at 1100Mhz x 1450Mhz
2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM
2x8GB Corsair Vengance LP Black @ 1600Mhz
Corsair GS800W Gaming series
Asus Crosshair V Formula Z
Windows 8.1 64 bit

Early Thanks!

Well it was actually going like 12w more than right now at 4.0Ghz but anyways u might be right , the difference would be too small ...Sigh* Oh well maybe ... i could sell only the CHV-Z and the Ram to get only 8Gb and buy a MB like urs, the Asus m5a97 le 2.0 which is a bit less half of the price of the CHV-Z....
Mehh i still regret tho xD since it was my first build now i see on how many things i could have save money but i didnt because i wanted the best of the best lol.

Buyers remorse...always happens...
I say just make the switch to Intel in a another couple gens...
I too was gunna sell mine and go 4670K until I heard truthful reports and watched you tube video's of people recording frames on the thing...

It's almost the same...yea i noticed the intel was faster but it wasn't the 10-20 frame boost that I wanted. It was like 3 tops(being generous) in a custom battle in Rome 2(one of the games I wanted better performance in). matched it like for like and got the same dips to the exact same min frame. All i needed to watch to save me money...would have been kicking myself in the ass for a long time over it.

You will not save enough on power bill, over the life of the 4670k, to make up the cost for the switch. You would affect your power bill far more by knocking a couple degrees down on your heat or bump it up a couple on your AC, depending on the weather. I went from an overclocked Kenstfield Xeon quad core to a wolfdale dual core back in the core 2 days. I saw 0 benefit on my power bill.
