Hi guys, here's the thing. This psu only has 1 PCI-E power connector and the 270x uses 2.
I guess i can use the power connector and add a molex-to-PCIE adaptor for the other one.
I know i dont have headroom for OC, but thats not a problem, because i will be upgrading my psu to a 650W 80+ bronze one in about 5 months.
Even at 70% efficiency (theorically) i know it should work, because my whole setup draws not more than 350 AT MOST. I have a FX6300 , 1 stick of 4GB Kingston HyperX and two 500gb HDDS.
I know the brand of the psu is shady at best, and that i should go for a 80+ one, thing is i'm really low on funds.
Will the 270x run safely? i have read around that the card itself does not draw more than 150w, but on some other forums, i've read it draws up to 180, i'm kinda confused about this. what do you think? PSU EXPERTS only please!

OK if you only have one PCI-E connector on your motherboard pick up a R9 270 its basically the same thing except it's 5% slower but consumes way less power and only needs one pci-e connector

The power connector is on the PSU, not the motherboard. i considered that possibility, but that card has only 1 fan and draws more heat. Also, i can get the 270x Double fan (also XFX) for just a little bit of money. More value and more resell chances.Question is still open.

Btw, even if the r9 270 uses less power, it's only by a very small margin, about 20 Watts.
