My friend is attempting to build his first gaming rig. I have knowledge on gaming rig but I just want to see some of the forum's opinion.
Budget is $800~$1000, that is all he wants to spend. Rig able to max out or close to DayZ standalone,BF4 etc. (modern games)

My bad. I was doing something so I just made a quick post.
Doesn't plan to OC but it wont hurt to leave some future OC option.
Playing on 1920x1080p.
No extra accessories are needed. (keyboard, mouse, etc)
OS is not needed.
AMD or Intel doesn't matter as long as you're able to play on high/max setting on games like Day Z standalone, BF4 etc.
Prefered sites are Amazon,newegg,tigerdirect.

Throw anything at this build, and it can handle it. Only reason I included 16GB of RAM because with a rig this beast he may want to do some video editing and streaming and stuff down the road, but if you opted for only 8GB of RAM just bring the price down just below $900
