So i just received my crucial m500 msata and i installed it in my laptop.
I think i installed the right drivers, it shows up in my bios, but i can't see it in the boot option menu in the bios?
But it doesn't show up in the "my computer" section.
What am I doing wrong, help is really welcome.

Thanks :)

Thanks for the link,

Although it seems like he knows 1 or 2 things about it, none of the things he mentioned seem to apply to my case.
I actually payed more for this msata ssd then for a regular ssd, it's a 480gb msata...

Msata disks are used to cache files and improve speed of your system. Here is thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/284056-32-onboard-msata-advantages-disadvantages
look at Dereck47 explanation.

I actually payed more for this msata ssd then for a regular ssd, it's a 480gb msata chip so that's far beyond just caching some stuff.
I actually got it to work by going into computer management; disk management; and i was able to select the msata drive and assign a letter to it. now it's a normal 480gb drive that shows up in my computer and i transfers files at around 500mb/s from my Samsung 840 evo 250gb SSD.

So everything is fixed and it all works wonderfully.

Thanks for your help anyway :)
