He's looking to add another 8GB to the existing 8GB of 1333MHz RAM for a total of 16GB as stated in the OP. He will be lucky to get RAM of different brands to even work together. He certainly can't get faster RAM, he would just have to underclock it to match the specs of the original RAM and hope for the best. Mixing RAM of different specs and brands rarely ends well.

The best option would be to look up the model number from your existing Hynix RAM and see if the exact same model number is still available online somewhere.
 


All the ram I linked was dual channel, in 1600 and 1333 varieties, even two sticks of single channel memory from the same manufacturer can cause issues. His mobo is a dual channel spec, so I gave him a list of ram that would work on his mobo.
