Hey all,
I've been playing Skyrim on an old rig given to me by a friend. With a few tweaks it actually runs fine on high settings, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a compatible graphics card upgrade to increase the performance a little. All help greatly appreciated, Specs are:
CPU: AMD A6-3650
RAM: 8.00GB DDR3
Motherboard: ASRock A75M-HVS
Graphics: 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 Power supply: Corsair cx430

The higher you go the better your performance would be, but there are some restrictions in power supply as I have mentioned earlier. So if you are upgrading to a better GPU you need a good PSU to power your computer

This is the best I would suggest you below 200

However you require a 550W PSU for this GPU

Yes that is also a good choice, if you want to go with ATI Cards, here this one will help you ----> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Toxic-1100MHz-Express-Graphics/dp/B00FOQZZ6Y/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1391165189&sr=8-5&keywords=r9+270x

The toxic R9 270x is the best option.

You can get a decent PSU for 50, I would recommend XFX or Seasonic, I was not able to find a seasonic so you can try this ---> http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-ATX-550-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1391165281&sr=8-3&keywords=550w+psu

This. It'll be a BIIIIIIG upgrade from the GT 520, trust me ;)

Your build would also probably run BF4 with the r9 270x (toxic like Rams Anirudh suggested)
