One of the last few things I need for my build is a PSU, and I had been thinking of getting the EVGA SuperNOVA 1000G2, as from what I've read it's a pretty damn good PSU (Based on the same platform as the SuperFlower Leadex), however others have suggested the SeaSonic X-850 in it's place.
This is my build so far: pcpartpicker
The reason for the big PSU is that later down the line I plan to stick another 780 in there in SLI and there's always argument of "You only need 750W!" and "No no no, you need 850W".
The reason I was thinking the SuperNOVA is that it seems like a good PSU, gives a bit more headroom and is slightly cheaper (£128 from dabs).
I've seen all the "You need a SeaSonic!" replies constantly, and I understand that they're a good PSU manufacturer / probably the best around with a great track record, but I'm just curious as there have to be a few alternatives.
Either way, I'm just curious as to which of the two would be the best choice, or any suggestions really, but as well as sticking a 2nd 780 in I do plan to OC it all at some point, as well as any case fans I may add. If I need them. Still not sure as no one's really answered that question =/
Edit - Just realised I forgot to add a link to each one:
