(6300/8320) + (gtx 760 / r9 280x) combinations

hello guys i am building a new pc .These are the combinations (prices included) i might buy -

6300 with 760 = 31400
8320 with 760 = 34400
6300 with 280x = 36400

which combination would you suggest.Also i am new to overclocking and stuff and i dont have much idea about it , though i just might if need be .

8320 and 280x hands down? Those two are the most powerful.

I was going to say the same 6300 with the 280x. Although you do know the GTX 770 is better and 10 dollars cheaper. Atleast on newegg anyways. The GTX 770 is a little bit better though and is something to look at.

The 6300 is very capable and so is the r9 280x. There really are no reasons to even consider the other 2 options...

can u tell how much of a performance boost would i get on terms of fps while using a 6300 and 760 vs 6300 and 280x .... because there is a difference of 5000 indian rupees

Honestly if your looking for it to be a bit cheaper just go with the 760. The difference in fps is not really to great. Maybe 10 fps loss on most games although for some reason the 760 kicks the 280x in the teeth when it comes to crisis 3.

okay i just saw many youtube videos ... the conclusion .. 760 played most of the games at around 45 to 50 fps ( mostly at highest settings) while 280 x played the same at 60 fps at highest settings...is 50fps smooth enough ???

30 fps is the minimum you want to play at for a smooth experience, however it is good to aim for 60fps then it will align with your monitors 60hz refresh rate. 50 fps will deliver pretty smooth gameplay though.

Thats a hard question to answer. If you can get the r9 280x, get it since it offers better performance.

il probably get r9 280x with 6300 ...thanks a lot everyone ...one more question i have a 1333 4gb ram ....do i buy another 1333 4gb ram ...or is 4gb sufficient ....and is 500 w psu sufficient ?
