MSI Geforce 770gtx 2gb or r9-280x sapphire toxic

Okay so a while back I posted about if my pc's power supply will be able the sapphire card and people said yes. My problem now is that I have paid for the sapphire before Christmas last year and because I'm in South Africa there still is no stock. The option they gave me is to take the msi because they have stock in it. They cost exactly the same but I will gwt AC: IV Black Flag with the msi nvidia. I want to know if I should take the msi or not because they(evetech) said it might still be a while before the sapphire arrives. I'm into gaming but not that heavily since I have a lot of school work to do. Please any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance :)

Im inclined to say "GTX 770"...it (comparing OC to OC) just edges out the 280X and will be cooler. That said, Im not up on prices right now...which may be the deciding factor. If price is pretty close, or you plan on dual cards in the future...my vote is for 770.

Thanks a lot and another plus is that the msi is less power consuming so there will be less strain on my psu. So far it looks like the msi will keep the post open for more answers. :) And the prices are both R4599
