I first installed a Quick Heal Antivirus 2012 (not updated) and I installed Microsoft Security Essential over it yesterday because whenever I inserted my pendrive it only showed a shortcut and the shortcut wont open so I intalled MSE and scanned whole system and removed all errors now when I try to un-install Quick heal the un-install wizard after 17-25% compleation it shows
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation pacakage 'inst.msi' in the box below."
Please Help...........................................

I suggest you to manually remove the folders related to Quick Heal on the computer, that should remove the program.
First enable hidden files including protected operating system files.
Navigate to Program files or Program files (x86) if you have 64 bit OS.
Then go to Program Data.
If you find any folder related to Quick heal delete it
Once it is done go to the uninstall a program and uninstall the software it will be removed.

Good Luck !!!

Okay, what about program files or program files (x86)? If so remove them and check your registry for quick heal av
You will be able to find it under Hkey local machine --> Software
Hkey Current User ---> Software
If you have 64 bit OS under software you will have a folder called wow32, check under that as well
