Hi,

I have a Gagabyte GTX 770 2Gb WF3 GPU and would like some advice on overclocking.

I have no intention in overclocking excessively but I would like give it a go. I would like some advise on getting this done use OC Guru 2.

Has anyone done this before using this GPU and software?

Thanks for the help.

Results may vary. Yes the 7.4 ghz is 7400 MHz.

You can start with the card at those settings but if you notice any artifacts or weird lines or colors on the screen that shouldn't be there - back the settings down immediately..

If you want to be "safe" put the settings a little below what is on that article to start, and you should be ok. Run a few games and monitor the temperatures. You want to keep the card below 80 - the lower the better.

The gigabyte card runs pretty cool to start. I personally am not Overclocking my 770 but I will one day and will probably just match the settings on that article.

Keep in mind there is always a risk when Overclocking, but if your temperatures are low that is the main thing, the voltages are...

Thanks for the reply.

I came across this article too but i'm not exactly sure how to reach the 1293Mhz for the boost clock. I increase the core clock to 1197Mhz and the boost automatically increases to 1249Mhz. As for the 7.4Ghz for the memory oc, is that 7400Mhz?

Another is, is it safe to do this or should i gradually increase the oc settings?

Thanks for the help.
