Really Low FPS on Assassin's Creed IV with these specs

Hello

I recently got Assassin's Creed IV for my PC. I know I don't have the best PC for gaming but I have played other games like Splinter Cell: Blacklist on ultra settings with a decent FPS rate (30 - 40)

When playing AC IV I get between 6 - 15 FPS -totally unplayable- even with the lowest settings, and I've been having similar issues in games like Need for Speed: Rivals or Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition.

Here are my specs, like I said, not the best PC but I should be able to play decently, I suppose.

Motherboard: ECS A970M-A Deluxe

CPU: FX-4130 3.8 GHz

RAM: 2x4Gb Kingstom Hyperx 1600 MHz

GPU: Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850

PSU: Sentey ERP 650 W

Monitor: LG IPS 22EAS3V 1920x1080

I would appreciate your help with this problem I have.

Hey thanks for answering.

Actually I tried turning all the grapphics settings to the lowest point. I set everithing at Very Low, Lor or Off according to the options. Results were pretty much the same, I got 10-15 FPS as the best rate. Still don't know what it could be.

It might not be your specs Assassins creed IV is not optimized for PC at all even the devs said it. I have the game also and I run everything on a mixture of High and very and I only get like 40 - 50 FPS sometimes I get 60 FPS in certain non demanding areas so don't feel to bad.
