Hello folks,

I'm building my father an htpc with a mini-ITX form factor. I have an Cooler Master: Elite 120 Advanced and it comes with three 3.5" HDD bays but I am looking for something similar for my dad. Maybe more of a low profile case even if it does mean it is much wider. He just definitely does not want it as big as my case. He just wants to be able to fit it on a shelf with his other equipment. I have looked at Silverstone cases but I only found one with two 3.5" bays. Any ideas? Thanks!

You probably won't beat the Elite 120 for fitting 3 HDDs into a small package, especially not for the price.
If you need something smaller but still capable of fitting 3HDDs, the only thing that springs to mind is the Elite 110.
It's certainly small, and quite shelf friendly, but it's more or less the same height as the Elite 120. It also might have a few more component restrictions.

If you will not the use a dvd drive except an occasional software install, you could always get a silverstone ML03B or ML04B and get a 5.25 to 3.5 adapter to put the hard drive in the DVD drive slot.

I have the ML03B for my xbmc htpc and it looks very nice with my reciever and other equipment.
