chkdsk still doesn't run at the reboot. Just goes straight to login

How to cancel Chkdsk.exe or Autochk.exe that starts when you try to shut down or restart your computer

After canceling that, try running CHKDSK from a Command prompt window with "CHKDSK C: /R"
(To open a command prompt window: Start/Run/type "CMD" and press enter)
