Hello everyone,
My PC just won't boot up. When I press the power button nothing happens. It just powers up and won't even post.
The reason is that I was performing a bios update and the PC just shut down during the process. I wanted to update the bios because I had some overheating problem when NOT in windows. For example, when I entered the bios utility, the temp would just get higher and higher till it reached the max safe temp then it shuts down. I disabled the heat protection setting but then I forgot to save after changing the option.
So is there any way to fix this? Like would it work if I bought a new bios chip and replaced the old one? Is the motherboard still usable after what just happened?
